Packed but no wait. Huge portion. Dishes ware so flavorful. Don’t know what else I need to say.
Pure joy to be here. Everything is so fresh and amazingly delicious with the right amount of spices. Everything there was prepared to my perfection and was juicy the cheburek is a delicious art of food that you eat and it is like taking a bite into heaven. This place is amazing and keeps to it's traditions l as well as friendly. I have been here many times but forgot to write review because everything tasted delicious and each time I forgot. Today I finally wrote the review and it was a joyful writing the review. This place is amazing it's a must visit.
absolutely delicious food, lagman and manty hit the spot, pilaf is pretty solid as well, get the pitcher of compote, super refreshing! made me miss home however we were not given the naan like other tables not sure if thats because we were the only table speaking english? ps: 10% service charge added to bill so you can tip accordingly.
We have lunch there. Took manti and salad. Food was ok, meat for manti was not best, service was good. But they did not mention in the check that they already included service 10 % on top of your food so if you tip later 20 % you can calculate how much overtip you do :) prices is no crazy so it was not big impact for us so I saw it but I decided say nothing. But if you bill is big it is important to know and they should mention it. Also 4 % charge on cards which also was untold.
The lamb back and sea bass shish kebabs are outstanding - very tender and delicious. The plov (rice with meat) was also delicious. The atmosphere was beautiful. I didn't like the red wine by the glass (I think it had alcohol in it) or the pot of hot tea (no lemon although we asked. I wish the dishes had better description what the amount is. For example the lamb back kebab was just 1 shish skewer with 3 pieces of lamb while the sea bass was 2 shish skewers with 5-6 pieces on each. They add 10% service fee automatically and $5 for credit card.
We loved Omar Khayyam. After a long day at the beach, this was the perfect meal. This place’s ambiance is pretty and kinda fancy. Our waitress was so kind and amazing! We were a group of 7 and ordered 2 fish, 2 Plov, manti, 2 salads (carrot and tomato), potato and mushroom, quail kebab, 2 kompot. We loved everything. The whole grilled fish on the menu was so well cooked and came with a side dish. The Plov flavor blew us away. The simple potato and mushroom was such a great side dish, full of garlic flavor. The salads were the freshness we needed. The experience was one of a kind and still very affordable for a large group to taste many dishes. We highly recommend coming here anytime you’re in the area. One of us was dairy free and we told the waitress and it was easy to avoid dairy.
The most delicious food. I've tried kebab in a lot of places in NY, but this one was the best. Very soft, juicy, and melting in mouth. The portion is really good. The service is really nice. Thanks to Saya. She was really taking care of us and gave a really good service. The atmosphere is very good. For sure, we'll come back again!
Good food. The billing is confusing. Your bill is calculated like this: - menu price - tax 8.875% - Multiply this total by 10% as a “service fee” - Multiply again by 4% as a card fee, if paying with card So e.g. if your menu price is $100 and you pay with card, then at most restaurants your bill would be $108.88. Here, it is $124.55. And this is not well marked on the bill since the fees are mislabeled as tax in a few places. The point is pay with cash and be aware your bill will be subtotal plus tax, plus 10% of that amount.
